I was tagged by Laura from Little Orange Kitchen! Thanks, Laura. 🙂 I can’t wait to see how your cupcakes turn out!
What were you doing ten years ago?
Wow.. okay, I was 12 so I was just getting started with my summer break after the 6th grade. And I was probably celebrating my dad’s birthday with him ’cause today is his birthday!
Five things on your To-Do list?
- Finish my amigurumi Totoro by Monday
- Finish the doily I started for my mom in December… woops
- Start creating illustrations to use on greeting cards and post cards to sell
- Paint two paintings for above the entertainment center
- Learn to knit!
Five snacks you enjoy?
- Dark chocolate
- Yogurt with oatmeal or granola
- I’m trying so hard because I know tea isn’t a snack… but tea!
Things you would do if you were a millionaire:
Other than buying myself a house in the middle of Savannah’s historic district and saving some as back-up money, I think I would donate a lot. I would donate to animals, the environment, medical research and social programs that I feel are important to society. I also might buy an extra house to keep all the yarn I’ll end up buying!! >:3 Haha.
Places I’ve Lived:
- Oakland, California
- McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania
- Orlando, Florida
Ta-dah. Hope you’ve learned something new about me!
Now I’m supposed to tag other people to do this little survey, so I’m going to tag a couple people who I’ve been reading on a regular basis: Brigitte from roman sock and Melissa from Imagine. (Don’t feel obligated to post!) Visit their blogs, they both have great crochet wisdom to instill!
Along with this survey that I was tagged for, I wanted to show off the consolation prize I got from Laura during her Blog Anniversary Give-Away!
She sent a little notepad, chocolate and tea (yayyy!), along a little note on this great paper. The tea was amazing, I’ll be writing a little post on that for Wednesday of next week. The chocolate was melt-in-your mouth yummy. I love all the papers she uses, they’re really amazing.
While I was waiting for my little package to arrive, I found myself surfing around her Etsy shop, Little Orange Kitchen Studio And Craft. I found this great cardholder made from paper that she had written a description for that I absolutely loved. It’s so well-made, I’m really impressed!
I’m not sure why but I am smitten with Alice in Wonderland. I have a wallet that I bought from Hot Topic with Alice In Wonderland on it, it’s so cute! So when I read Laura’s description of how the paper the cardholder was made from would be found in Wonderland Printing LLC, I just got all these images in my head of the caterpillar smoking his hookah pipe. Then, looking at the patterns on the wallet, I started seeing all the swirls as the smoke from his pipe. I had to have the wallet.
