Hi there! You’re probably here because you’re wondering what I do with your personal information. Yes, I do collect personal information from forms on my website and/or from comment forms on each blog post.
For forms on the website that send you an email, the contact information you submit is securely stored with SendIn Blue, an email marketing platform. You should not receive future emails from me beyond the one you requested by filling out the form unless you doubly opt-in (there should be subscribe buttons in the confirmation email you receive) unless I screw something up.
If you’d like to be removed from future emails, click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of one of my emails to you at any time! This will block me from being able to send you an email through SendIn Blue.
If you’d like your information completely removed from my list or send me an email at email@example.com and I’ll delete your information from my account with SendIn Blue.
For the comments on WordPress, your email address, name, url, and IP address are logged in the WordPress database and your name and url are displayed with the comment on the website.
I may use your email address to contact you if the comment you leave leads me to believe you would like me to contact you personally, but I will not copy your email address into my email marketing list or do anything else with that email address.
If you would like for me to remove your comment or personal information from my WordPress database, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
My website hosting company also has access to this information through the database and if you would like information about my hosting company, please email me.
I think that’s it! If you have any concerns about your personal information in regards to this website, my email marketing platform, or anywhere else you interact with me, please send me an email and I’ll give you as much information as I can! I’m definitely not here to do anything creepy with your information, so I will be as transparent as possible.
